Launched in 2026, Daniel Galvin is introducing an exciting and unique new education structure which offers an industry pathway into quality training and a career in hairdressing.
NVQ EDUCATION
This comprehensive Study Programme combines structured NVQ education provided by Central Hairdressing Academy with real hands-on salon experience. Learning takes place over 18 hours per week, delivered by three six-hour days.
STUDY DAY
Mondays are dedicated to structured formal education, working to achieve a NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing alongside any maths and English needs ensuring students develop the core skills that are essential in the workplace.
ESSENTIAL LIVE TRAINING
The remaining days are allocated to learning on the salon floor and gaining invaluable work experience alongside some of the finest hairdressers in the country.

UNIQUE STUDY PROGRAMME

This is not an Apprenticeship, this is a Study Programme and hours in education are unpaid. However, it does offer a unique alternative to typical college education. Training at Daniel Galvin’s prestigious salon offers students a real-world learning environment beyond the classroom.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
While enrolled on the Study Programme, students may also undertake employment alongside their studies. This may include opportunities with Daniel Galvin. In such circumstances, employment as a salon assistant will be paid in accordance with the National Minimum Wage (NMW) in addition to any tips received. Salon assistants will also have access to complimentary education workshops delivered by industry leaders to refine techniques and further hone their skills.
